These days, “Panama Papers
Scandal” causes political problems around the world.
It may become the issue in US Presidential election. Actually, Sanders criticized Clinton for that FTA with Panama she supported made Panama tax-heaven, and some media report she is related to the company which appeared in Panama Papers.
Also this scandal revealed that offshore company can be establish to
avoid tax easily in some states of US where Panama Papers don’t regard as tax-heaven.
Candidates’ position on this issue may affect their approval rating.
Though the extent of
tax-avoidance’s effect is unclear, at least Clinton can’t disregard this
scandal.
